We finished a warm white install in Bourbonnais yesterday, and it is a good example of what full coverage looks like. Rooflines, gutter lines, and ridges, all outlined in C9 Minleon bulbs so the whole house reads as one continuous line instead of a few lit sections.

Watch The Install

The video runs through the install and covers the $100 off we are running on all inclusive installations booked by Thanksgiving.

Why Warm White C9

Warm white is the one that never looks dated. It works against brick, stone, light siding, and dark siding equally well, it photographs beautifully at dusk, and it reads as elegant rather than busy. Multicolor has its place and we install plenty of it, but for homeowners who want the house to look finished rather than decorated, warm white is usually the answer.

The C9 part matters just as much. C9 is the large classic bulb, and on a roofline of any real length it holds its spacing and presence in a way mini lights cannot. From the street you see distinct points of light rather than a blurred line. We run commercial grade LED C9s from Minleon, which are built to come back out of the box looking the same season after season instead of fading toward a different shade of white by year two.

What Full Coverage Actually Means

Plenty of installs stop at the front roofline, which looks fine from directly across the street and incomplete from anywhere else. On this house we ran:

  • Rooflines, so the primary outline of the home is unbroken
  • Gutter lines, which carry the light down along the eaves where the roofline ends
  • Ridges, the peaks along the top, which is the detail most installs skip
  • Custom cut runs measured on site, so no dark gaps and no doubled back strand
  • Professional clips sized to the shingle and gutter edge, never staples or nails
  • An auto timer so the display runs at dusk and shuts off overnight on its own

Ridge lines take more time and more material, and that is exactly why they get left off. They are also the difference between a roof that looks intentionally lit and one that looks partly finished, especially on a home with multiple peaks.

Great People To Work For

Worth saying: these homeowners were an absolute joy to work with. Easy to communicate with, clear about what they wanted, and genuinely excited when the crew powered it up. Jobs like that are the reason this is a fun season rather than just a busy one, and our crew felt it too.

$100 Off If You Book By Thanksgiving

We are running $100 off all inclusive Christmas light installations booked by Thanksgiving. It comes off the total, and it stacks on top of a package that already covers everything:

  • A design consultation for your specific roofline
  • Commercial grade LED lights custom cut to your home
  • An auto timer set for you
  • Maintenance all season, so a failed run gets fixed at no extra charge
  • Removal in January
  • Storage until the following season

Packages start at $749, and install weeks between late October and early December fill in the order they are booked. The dates before Thanksgiving always go first, which is another reason not to sit on this.

We install throughout Bourbonnais, Bradley, Kankakee, and Manteno, plus Frankfort, New Lenox, Mokena, and Manhattan in Will County. See our Christmas light installation page for full details, read Reviews of Christmas Light Installations on our Google profile, or request a free design quote and we will get a number back to you the same day.

Christmas Light Installation FAQ

Book an all inclusive installation with Green Pro Services by Thanksgiving and we take $100 off the price. It applies to new installs across Kankakee County and Will County, and it comes off the total rather than being tied to a package upgrade. Call or text (815) 650-0397 or request a free design quote to lock it in.

C9 bulbs are the large, classic Christmas bulbs, roughly the size of a nightlight bulb, mounted on heavier gauge commercial socket line. They hold their spacing and presence on a long roofline where mini lights get swallowed. We install commercial grade LED C9s from Minleon rather than the strands sold at big box stores.

Neither is better, they just do different jobs. Warm white reads as elegant and classic, works with any exterior color, and photographs beautifully against brick, stone, and darker siding. Multicolor reads as festive and traditional and tends to suit homes where the display is meant to feel playful. We install both, and the design consultation is where we figure out which fits your house.

On this Bourbonnais home we covered the rooflines, the gutter lines, and the ridges, which is what creates one continuous outline instead of a few lit sections. Ridge lines in particular get skipped often because they take more time, and they are the detail that makes a roof read as intentional rather than partly decorated.

Yes. Bourbonnais is one of our busiest neighborhoods every season, along with Bradley, Kankakee, and Manteno, plus Will County communities including Frankfort, New Lenox, Mokena, and Manhattan. Call or text (815) 650-0397 for a free design quote.

All inclusive packages start at $749 per season. Where a home lands depends on how much roofline gets lit, the number of stories, and how many peaks, ridges, and returns are involved. With the $100 off promotion applied to installs booked by Thanksgiving, that starting point comes down accordingly.

Design for your specific roofline, commercial grade LED lights custom cut on site, an auto timer, maintenance through the season at no extra charge, removal in January, and storage until the following year. You never handle a strand, store a bin, or climb a ladder.

As early as you can. We work a fixed number of install days between late October and early December, and the weeks before Thanksgiving fill first every year. Booking early also gets you the $100 off, since that promotion ends at Thanksgiving.
