Green Pro Services offers pressure washing, house washing (soft wash), window cleaning, gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, and Christmas light installation. We serve both residential and commercial properties across Kankakee County and Will County, Illinois.
Yes. We use the right method for every surface — high pressure on concrete and hardscape, low-pressure soft washing on siding, stucco, brick, and roofs. We never use high pressure on surfaces that would be damaged by it, and we pre-wet landscaping and sensitive areas before any chemical application.
Yes. Green Pro Services of Kankakee LLC carries full general liability insurance covering all of our work throughout Illinois, including Will County. We are happy to provide a certificate of insurance on request before any job. Never hire an exterior cleaning company that cannot provide proof of coverage.
Not for most exterior services. Pressure washing, house washing, gutter cleaning, and roof cleaning are all exterior-only and can be completed while you are away. We just need access to the outside of the property and an outdoor water spigot. Window cleaning that includes interior glass does require someone to be home or access arrangements made ahead of time. We text when we arrive and again when we are done.
Yes. Many customers schedule recurring exterior cleaning to stay ahead of seasonal buildup. Gutter cleaning twice a year, window cleaning in spring and fall, and annual house washing are the most common recurring combinations. Call us or mention it when you request a quote and we will work out a schedule that makes sense for your property.
Yes, and we encourage it. Bundling services saves time and often reduces overall cost since we are already mobilized and on your property. Common combinations include house washing plus gutter cleaning, pressure washing plus window cleaning, and roof cleaning plus gutter cleaning. Just let us know what you need and we will quote it together.
We accept cash, check, and most digital payment options including Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle. If you have a specific payment preference, just ask when you book and we will confirm what works.
Light rain does not always stop the work — pressure washing and gutter cleaning can often still be completed safely. For services like window cleaning or Christmas light installation where rain directly impacts quality or safety, we will reach out to reschedule at no extra charge. We monitor weather closely and will contact you in advance if a postponement is needed.
Pricing depends on the service, property size, surface condition, and scope of the work. General ranges: driveway pressure washing $150–$225, house washing $250–$500, window cleaning $120–$300, gutter cleaning $100–$250, roof cleaning $250–$550, Christmas lights starting at $749 all-inclusive. All of these are starting ranges — we provide a specific free estimate for your property before any work begins.
Yes, always. We never start work without giving you a clear price upfront. You can request an estimate by calling (815) 650-0397, texting us, or filling out the form on our contact page. We respond same day in most cases.
Yes. We use Google Earth to view and measure properties remotely, which allows us to provide accurate estimates without requiring an on-site visit. Just submit your property address through our contact form or give us a call and we can put together a quote fast. This is especially convenient for roof cleaning, house washing, and Christmas light estimates.
No. The price we quote is the price you pay. The only exception is if the scope of the work is significantly different from what was described when we estimated — for example, if a roof has heavy moss coverage that was not visible in the photos. We will always discuss any changes with you before doing any additional work.
Most services can be scheduled within a few days. During peak seasons — spring and fall — availability can be tighter, particularly for gutter cleaning and Christmas light installation. We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially for holiday lights where our fall calendar fills up quickly. Call (815) 650-0397 or fill out the contact form and we will find the earliest available time that works for you.
We are available 24/7. Call or text anytime — we pick up. Field work is typically scheduled during daylight hours but we accommodate early morning and weekend scheduling based on availability.
Yes. We schedule service on Saturdays and Sundays based on availability. Weekend slots are popular so reach out early if you need a specific day. Just let us know when you request a quote and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
We pressure wash concrete driveways, sidewalks, patios, decks, fences, retaining walls, garage floors, pool decks, and commercial surfaces like parking lots and storefronts. For siding and roofs, we use soft washing instead — high pressure is not appropriate for those surfaces and can cause damage.
It depends on how long the stain has been there and how deep it has penetrated. Fresh oil stains respond well to professional pressure washing with a degreaser pre-treatment. Older set-in stains may lighten significantly but not disappear entirely. We will give you an honest assessment at the estimate so you know what results to expect before we start.
A standard single-car driveway takes 45 minutes to an hour. Larger two or three-car driveways run 90 minutes to two hours. A full patio and walkway package typically takes two to three hours. We use a rotary surface cleaner for even, streak-free results rather than a wand, which also helps us work efficiently.
Once a year is a solid baseline for most Illinois homeowners. Spring is the most common time — it clears winter salt, dirt, and organic growth before it hardens into the concrete. If you have heavy tree coverage or a vehicle that drips oil, more frequent cleaning may be beneficial.
Soft washing uses low pressure combined with professional-grade biodegradable cleaning solutions to safely remove algae, mold, mildew, and oxidation from a home's exterior. High-pressure washing on siding can crack vinyl panels, force water behind the siding, strip paint, and void manufacturer warranties. Soft washing cleans deeper and results last 1 to 2 years — significantly longer than pressure washing alone.
Yes. Soft washing is safe for vinyl siding, aluminum siding, wood siding, fiber cement (like HardiePlank), brick, stucco, EIFS, and painted surfaces. The low pressure means there is no risk of cracking, stripping, or water intrusion regardless of the surface type.
Close all windows and doors, move patio furniture and potted plants away from the house, and let us know about any sensitive plants or flower beds along the foundation. That is all you need to do. We handle wetting down vegetation before and after the wash and will work around any obstacles on site.
Most homes in Kankakee County and Will County benefit from a soft wash every one to two years. Signs it is time: green or black streaks on siding, visible mildew around windows or eaves, dull or gray-looking siding, or you are preparing to paint, list, or appraise the home.
Yes. We offer exterior-only cleaning as well as full interior and exterior cleaning. Most customers opt for both since interior glass collects its own layer of dust, cooking residue, and fingerprints. Interior cleaning requires someone to be home or access arrangements made ahead of time. Exterior-only can be done while you are away.
Yes. Every window cleaning includes screen removal, cleaning, and reinstallation, plus a wipe-down of sills and frames. Screens trap pollen and debris that transfers back onto clean glass — cleaning them is part of doing the job right.
Yes. We use professional water-fed pole systems that allow us to clean upper-floor windows from the ground without ladders in most cases. For windows that require ladder access, we use proper equipment and safety procedures. No window gets skipped because it is harder to reach.
Yes. Hard water stains from sprinkler systems and calcium-heavy water leave mineral deposits that standard cleaning cannot remove. We treat hard water staining with professional solutions that restore glass clarity without scratching. Depending on how long the stains have been present, most can be fully removed or significantly reduced.
Twice a year is the standard recommendation for most Illinois homes — once in late fall after the leaves drop, and once in early spring before heavy rain season. Homes with oak, maple, or cottonwood trees nearby may need a third cleaning in late spring when seed debris and helicopters clog gutters fast.
Yes, always. Downspout flushing is part of our standard process — not an add-on. A gutter that is cleared but has a blocked downspout will overflow just as fast as a clogged one. We run water through every downspout before we consider the job finished.
We bag everything and remove it from your property. We do not blow debris off the roof onto your lawn or leave bags for you to deal with. When we leave, your gutters are clear and your yard looks the same as when we arrived — or better.
Yes, and it is more common than most homeowners realize. When gutters overflow, water runs down the side of the house and pools against the foundation rather than being directed away. Over time — especially through Illinois freeze-thaw cycles — this saturates the soil, creates hydrostatic pressure on foundation walls, and can cause cracking, bowing, and basement water intrusion. Gutter cleaning is one of the cheapest forms of home protection available.
Those dark streaks are caused by a cyanobacteria called Gloeocapsa Magma that feeds on the limestone filler in asphalt shingles. It is a living organism that spreads and actively deteriorates your roofing material over time. Left untreated it shortens shingle lifespan and spreads to neighboring shingles. Soft washing kills it at the root and removes it safely.
Yes. The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) specifically recommends low-pressure soft washing as the approved method for algae removal on asphalt shingles. Major manufacturers including GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed align with this. Pressure washing, on the other hand, can void warranties by removing granules and damaging underlayment.
Typically 3 to 5 years before significant regrowth, depending on tree coverage, shade exposure, and moisture levels. Roofs with heavy overhanging trees may see regrowth sooner. We recommend cleaning every 2 to 3 years as preventive maintenance in the Illinois climate.

Will County expanded naturally because the demand was there and the fit was right. Call (815) 650-0397 or fill out our contact form to get a free quote for your Will County property.
