Our Story
We Started With Door Hangers and a Whole Lot of Hustle
Green Pro Services of Kankakee LLC did not start with a big investment or a business plan someone handed us. It started with minimal capital, a real belief in the work, and two people willing to put in the time to build something from nothing. We went door to door in Kankakee with hangers, told our neighbors what we do, and earned the first jobs one property at a time.
That is still how we think. We are Jeremiah Green and Clayton Karnes — uncle and nephew, 50/50 partners, and the people behind every job we send our name out on. Jeremiah handles the business side, client relationships, and the strategy behind growing into Frankfort, New Lenox, and Will County. Clayton runs field operations and is usually the one on site making sure the work is done right.
We are based in Kankakee because this is home. We serve Will County because the demand was there and the fit was right. Every job we take on — whether it is a driveway in Bourbonnais or a roofline in Frankfort — we treat it like it is our own property. That has not changed since day one and it is not going to.

Jeremiah handles client relationships, business development, digital marketing, and the strategy behind expanding Green Pro into Will County. He is the first call when something needs to get figured out and the last to leave until it does.
Clayton Karnes
Co-Owner & Field Operations
Clayton is the one on site making the work happen. He oversees field operations across Kankakee County and Will County, ensures every job meets the Green Pro standard, and is the reason customers feel confident from the moment we show up.
