Christmas Light Installation In Manteno, IL: Warm White Rooflines, Trees And Wrapped Columns

Green Pro Services of Kankakee installs professional Christmas lights in Manteno, Illinois, and this home is a recent example. Our crew outlined the rooflines in warm white lights, lit up the trees in the yard, and wrapped the front columns so the whole house glows as one design. Every Manteno install is all inclusive: custom cut lights, professional installation, an automatic timer, season long maintenance, and January takedown and storage. Packages start at $749.

The Goal For This Manteno Home

The homeowner wanted a classic look. No color changing strings, no blow up yard figures, just clean warm white light that makes the house look its best from the street. A lot of Manteno homeowners ask for the same thing, and it is the style we install the most across Kankakee County.

Warm white works because it matches the house instead of competing with it. It reads as soft and inviting at night, it photographs well, and it never looks dated. When the rooflines, trees, and columns all share the same color temperature, the display looks planned instead of pieced together.

What We Installed

This project covered three parts of the property. Each one was measured and built for this house specifically.

• Rooflines: Commercial grade warm white C9 LEDs on socket cord cut to the exact length of each run, so nothing loops, sags, or hangs past a corner.
• Trees: Warm white mini lights wrapped through the trees so they glow evenly from trunk to branches instead of looking like a string tossed over the top.
• Columns: The front columns were wrapped in warm white lights with even spacing, which frames the entry and ties the porch into the roofline.
• Power and timer: Clean power runs and an automatic timer, so the homeowner never has to plug anything in or flip a switch.

Every bulb is secured with clips sized to the shingles and gutters. We do not use staples or nails, so there is no damage to the fascia, gutters, or siding when the lights come down in January.

Why Wrapped Columns And Trees Make The Difference

A roofline alone outlines the house. Adding the trees and columns gives the display depth. Your eye moves from the peak of the roof down the columns to the front door and out to the yard, so the whole property feels lit instead of just the edge of the roof.

Wrapping is also where most DIY displays fall apart. Uneven spacing, gaps where a strand ran short, and cords hanging off the bottom of a column are the first things people notice. A professional wrap keeps the spacing tight and the cord hidden, which is what makes the finished house look the way it does in the video.

Why Manteno Homeowners Hire A Pro Instead Of Climbing The Ladder

Hanging lights on a two story roof in November means cold hands, wet shingles, and a ladder on frozen ground. Then the lights have to come back down in January, usually in worse weather. Hiring a crew takes all of that off your list.

You also skip the yearly cycle of buying new strands from a big box store. Our lights are commercial grade and custom cut to your home, so they last longer, look better, and go back up quickly next season. If something goes out in December, you call us and we fix it.
