Before and After Soft Washing in Bourbonnais IL: See This House Wash Transformation
This Bourbonnais, IL home had the kind of siding buildup most homeowners recognize right away. Green algae, dull siding, dirty trim, and shaded spots can make a house look older than it is. Green Pro Services soft washed the home and brought the exterior back to a cleaner, brighter look.
The video below shows the before and after. No blasting. No careless high pressure on the siding. Our crew used a soft wash process built for house washing in Kankakee County.
Why Bourbonnais Homes Get Green Algae on Siding
Bourbonnais homes deal with shade, humidity, rain, pollen, tree debris, and moisture that sits on siding. That creates the right conditions for algae and mildew to grow, especially on the north side of the house, near gutters, behind landscaping, and under shaded rooflines.
When that growth sits too long, the siding starts to look stained instead of dirty. A regular rinse from a garden hose usually will not fix it. The home needs the right cleaning mix, proper dwell time, and a controlled rinse.
What Soft Washing Does That Pressure Washing Does Not
Soft washing cleans the organic growth instead of trying to force it off the siding. That matters because vinyl siding, painted trim, soffits, window seals, and exterior fixtures can get damaged when someone uses too much pressure.
Green Pro Services uses a low pressure rinse and a cleaning solution made for algae, mildew, and exterior grime. This gives the home a cleaner finish without the damage risk that comes with high pressure on siding.

What We Clean During a House Wash
A Green Pro Services house wash can clean siding, soffits, fascia, gutters, trim, and other washable exterior surfaces. Every home gets checked before we start. We look at plants, outlets, fixtures, windows, oxidation, loose siding, and areas where water needs extra control.
The goal is not to rush through the job. The goal is to clean the home without leaving streaks, missed spots, or pressure marks.
Before and After Results Make the Biggest Difference
A clean house wash can change the whole look of a property. The siding looks brighter. The trim looks sharper. The gutters stop looking stained from the street. For homeowners getting ready for summer, family visits, photos, parties, or listing a home, this is one of the fastest curb appeal upgrades.
This Bourbonnais soft washing job shows that the home did not need paint or replacement siding. It needed a proper exterior wash.
